PROJECT SUMMARY
The project aims to substantiate from a technical and economic point of view a system for developing production costs and estimating capitalization prices, the degree of profitability of horticultural products by production levels and calculating the gross margin per product unit, so that under the conditions of optimizing production structures, applied technologies and financial support granted, a high economic efficiency is reached, in line with the performances of the European Union. The degree of complexity of the project derives from the use of its own calculation methodology, with new elements, processed from the techniques and procedures used in the EU. The methodology used within the project will be based on the substantiation of technologies and budgets per product, of technical and economic indicators specific to the products horticultural crops for conventional and organic agriculture. In the substantiation of production technologies, the use of framework technologies from the country’s technical institutes is opted for, and the structure of horticultural crops is in the field and protected areas, with average yields possible to achieve under the conditions of compliance with the designed technologies.
IMPLEMENTATION PLAN
Stage 1: Conceptual approaches to conventional and organic agriculture in the horticultural sector
Stage 2: Development of research methodologies for vegetable products (field tomatoes and protected areas, field cucumbers and protected areas, cornichons, carrots, ardeigras, cabbage, cauliflower) in conventional and organic farming systems – forecasts 2016 – 2017
Stage 3: Development of research methodologies for field and greenhouse flowers, medicinal plants in conventional and organic farming systems – forecasts 2016 – 2017
Stage 4: Development of research methodologies for vegetable products (field tomatoes and protected areas, field cucumbers and protected areas, cornichons, carrots, ardeigras, cabbage, cauliflower) in conventional and organic farming systems – forecasts 2017 – 2018
Stage 5: Development of research methodologies for field and greenhouse flower products, medicinal plants in conventional and organic farming systems – forecasts 2017 – 2018
Stage 6: Development of research methodologies for vegetable products (field tomatoes and protected areas, field cucumbers and protected areas, cornichons, carrots, ardeigras, cabbage, cauliflower) in conventional and organic farming systems – forecasts 2018 – 2019
Stage 7: Development of research methodologies for field and greenhouse flower products, medicinal plants in conventional and organic farming systems – forecasts 2018 – 2019
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
Technical and economic substantiation of methodologies for developing production costs and estimating market prices, the degree of profitability of vegetable crops, flowers and medicinal plants at production levels and calculation of the gross margin per product unit for conventional and organic agriculture, so that under the conditions of optimizing production structures, applied technologies and financial support granted, high economic efficiency is achieved, in line with the performance of the European Union.
