- the foundation of systems and mechanisms for the functioning of the agricultural and agri-food products market in Romania – agricultural marketing;
- technical-economic foundations for the organisation of agricultural holdings of optimal size;
- economic and financial analyses at farm level;
- analysis of the main agricultural product supply chains; quality management in the agricultural product supply chain;
- socio-economic dimensions of sustainable development of rural communities based on surveys, studies and analyses;
- studies on the development and modernisation of agriculture under market economy conditions and in line with EU requirements;
- extension activities to disseminate research results.
